Kentucky Rebel Scum Green River Ghost is our newest variety of KRS.
Many of you love the bold Kentucky Rebel Scum flavor, but asked for an extra hot version. Here you knuckleheads go. Green River Ghost starts with the same fermented pepper blend, Cider Vinegar, and Bourbon as KRS Original, then we add a big dose of fermented Bhut Jolokia, aka Ghost Peppers. The result is a sauce that still earns the KRS name for flavor, but goes full nuclear on the heat level within seconds.
KRS Green River Ghost starts with that bold bourbon and peppers flavor you know from Kentucky Rebel Scum, but the heat starts immediately and continues throughout. Very tangy and compliments chicken and grilled meats well. The heat lingers, giving that nice buzz feeling on the lips after. A great flavorful sauce for tacos when you want to bring the heat. Mix with real butter for an exceptionally hot wing sauce.
Named for the Green River, a tributary of the Ohio River that rises in South Central Kentucky. Tributaries of the Green River include the Barren, Nolin, Pond, and Rough Rivers. The river was named after Nathanael Green, a General of the Revolutionary War.
So far using the original on egg sammichs has been great.

Very good, hot, but very good. My very first order of KRS, I ordered Original, Blackberry Skirmish, and Stonewall Jerkson, there was a sample of Hot Sorghum in the package as well, which I appreciated. Anyway, all of those were fantastic, so, I figured for my 2nd order, I'll purchase a bottle of each sauce, when they arrived, since Green River Ghost was the only one I hadn't tried yet, I decided to put a little on a spoon to sample. Right away, it hit a small cut on my lip and began to burn, and once the spoon hit my tongue, it was immediate, as soon as I swallowed, the heat went from the back of my throat, into my nasal cavity and out my nostrils, and the spot where the sauce hit my tongue and the roof of my mouth, went completely numb, I've eaten some pretty hot stuff in my time, but nothing had ever done that before. Just a really fantastic sauce, from a great company, and an even better person.
Its great!. I cut up a rack of ribs and used different flavors you sent on each piece. My only regret was eating the Green River Ghost last. Took a little bit to recover.

Great flavor
This is an award-winning hot sauce!!! Beware it is extremely hot (Ghost Peppers DUH). Their original KRS is much milder, but still has some kick with really delicious unique flavor! I highly recommend these 2-hot sauces. I haven't tried them all but look forward to trying them. Try them you won't be disappointed, I promise!

Don’t by shy with this. Okay, be a tad shy but only until you’re familiar with the heat. Another great flavor from Kentucky Rebel Scum.
Fantastic flavor. This one needs moderation however, I added about a teaspoon to a bowl of chili and the happy tears started flowing. Perfect spicy bowl of chili.
This one was for my nephew, he loves it. Puts it on everything! My favorite is the Hot Sorghum but the new Stonewall Jerkson, is a close contender. Got two more bottles on the way, cause, why not!

All of KRS sauces are delicious and flavorful but I wanted something with more heat on my breakfast tortillas. Green River Ghost is the perfect amount of heat with great flavor. This bottle will go quick and I'll be back for more!
